Welcome to Word Ministries
Word Ministries was started in in 2007 with five members, holding services in a little house, located in the small Louisiana town of Lawtell. That ministry has grown to become a beacon of light to the stranger, the untrained and professional; the poor and imprisoned; the weak and the weary; the cast down and down trodden.
We are a church that is rich in the doctrine of God. Pastor Caleb Semien leads Word Ministries with fresh vision to see Eunice and surrounding areas won for Christ and to see people’s hearts set ablaze for the Kingdom of God. With that vision in mind, we are moving full steam ahead with excitement about God is doing through our ministry.
What to Expect
We believe that church should be a place that is full of life, excitement, and the transforming Presence of God. When you visit any of our locations, you will experience just that. Our worship is energetic and passionate, we teach from the Bible in a powerful but practical way, and we love others compassionately. From the quality nursery and fun-filled children’s service to the relevant and inspiring teaching, there is something for everyone! Most importantly, you will experience the Presence of God.
